Join the cast of characters at the Shrine of Saint Joseph’s Church in downtown St. Louis.

Not only is this church beautiful it has a wonderful and rich history.

For those of you who need assistance, we will teach you how to do HDR, long exposure, and how to understand shooting in aperture mode to get the sharpest images.

We have visited many churches around the St. Louis city however, this one has its own wonderful decor and statues.

We suggest that you bring a wide angle, lens, a sturdy tripod and plenty of batteries for this two hour adventure.

History..

The Shrine of St. Joseph Church has a fascinating history dating back to 1843, when it was founded by Jesuits to serve the German immigrant population. It's the site of the only Vatican-authenticated miracle in the Midwestern United States, after a man was dramatically healed in 1864. The church was nearly demolished in the 1970s, but a dedicated group of volunteers saved and restored it, and it's still used for special Masses and tours today.
